Deluxe Wordle Solver Support
Steps
- Deluxe Wordle Solver is a utility to help you as you solve Wordle games. Here are some example Wordle games: NY Times Wordle or wordlegame.org. For instructions on playing Wordle, consult this source: How to play Wordle
- Enter the "guess" into Wordle and let it score the guess. You may have one or more grey, yellow, and green letters highlighted provided by your Wordle game.
- then also enter the guess into Deluxe Wordle Solver
- Click the "Submit" button.
- See your word appear in all grey boxes. Color them identical to how Wordle scored them (grey, yellow and green) by following the on-screen instructions: "Touch color below then touch letter in guess:" You can think of it as getting colored ink on you fingertip and then touching the letter to color
- When you have the colors all set, then click on the button at the bottom, "Best Next Guess"
- See a screen (lion in background) with two columns. The "Best Next Guess" column lists the highest scored recommended next guess along with its score, sorted by score. All words in the "Best Next Guess" can be used in so-called "Hard Mode."
- Deluxe Wordle Solver has a comprehensive list of English words. The bold ones are considered more common. Depending on the Wordle game you are solving, some of the more obscure (non-bolded) words may be considered "not a word" so you may then want to try a bolded word. All the words on the "Best Next Guess" are words that comply with all the hints (color-coded) that have been provided by your Wordle game
- As game play progresses, If too many possible words remain (because words with common "green" characters) like (for example) bales, dales, fales, gales, hales, kales, males and pales, etc., then the clarifying words on the right can come in handy. These will eliminate up to 5 characters from your Wordle keyboard, and are valid English words. Sometimes you will get a yellow or green "hit" on a clarifying word that will speed up the number of guesses needed to solve the Wordle
